RSS Anything

Unlike YouTube, Twitch doesn't have RSS feeds (that I'm aware of).

I wanted a way to keep tabs on my favorite scam baiting baiter, Kitboga — without visiting Twitch or signing into an account to receive notifications.

I found a free online tool that can, in its own words, Transform any old website with a list of links into an RSS Feed.

Behold! RSS Anything

RSS Anything is a simple, free tool offered by Jerome, purportedly a software engineer or developer of sorts for Diffbot, an “AI Web Data Extraction and Crawling” company.

So I plugged the URL for the video tab of Kitboga's Twitch profile into RSS Anything, and a few seconds later was presented with both RSS and Atom feed links.

I fed one of those into NetNewsWire: the free and open source RSS reader for Mac and iOS — and voila — a squeaky clean feed with all his latest videos.

To be clear, I'll still need to select the title from one of these to navigate to Twitch in order to watch, unless I feed the video URL into IINA, mpv, VLC, or other similar player.

Other similar services exist like RSS Bridge, but I appreciate RSS Anything for its simplicity.
